Continental US Orders.
Our standard method of shipping is UPS Ground on all
continental domestic. For certain locations where transit
time is 4, 5 or 6 days, we HIGHLY recommend using at least
3-day Select.
International Orders.
We use either UPS or USPS on all international orders.
International customers are responsible for any and all
taxes, duties and GST levied upon receipt in their country.
Shipping & Handling
Cost. Our shopping cart automatically calculates package
weight and shipping costs based on the items you select.
However, the calculation is an estimation and we reserve the
right to adjust shipping & handling costs once actual
shipping costs have been determined.

There are a number of different levels of quality in
regards to sunless products and airbrush/HVLP equipment. Choosing the right products for this industry is as
important as choosing the right computer, tennis racket or
camera for your career. Some are quality and others are
"cheapies". There are a number of manufacturers
and distributors who sell
only the cheapest items they can produce or find. Thus, if price is
your
primary concern, then these suppliers may attract you.
South Island Products strives to provide only top quality
sunless and skin care products using only the very best
ingredients and manufacturing processes.
Our equipment is from reputable manufacturers. WE
TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN PROVIDING THE VERY BEST!
Most of our Turbine equipment has a one year or lifetime
warranty!
Our airbrush units carry a lifetime
warranty!
Our airbrush compressor have a six (6)
month warranty against manufacturer defects only.
Even with our commitment to quality, we cannot personally
escort our equipment to the user and ensure proper usage and
handling. Unfortunately, issues do arise from time to time.
Due to the delicate
and specialized nature of airbrush equipment, South Island
Products, Inc. does not generally accept returns
on systems, components, or products (with the exception of
legitimate warranty or quality issues). General returns
must be approved in advance within thirty (30) days
of initial receipt, sent shipping pre-paid and are
subject to a 20% restocking fee. If a general return
is allowed, all equipment must be unused, contain all parts
and be in original plastic and cartons, etc.; in other words,
same as NEW. (Used equipment cannot be returned except for
legitimate warranty or quality issues.) Credit will not be given until equipment is
received and inspected by South Island Products, Inc. and/or
its equipment supplier.
We will replace
defective equipment for up to six (6) months following date of
initial delivery. (See notes.)
All items purchased through this web site are made
pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of
loss and title for such items pass to the User upon our
delivery to the carrier.
Unless any system,
component or tent is defective, customer is responsible for
return freight.
We do
not accept return of spray solution and related skin
care products for any reason.
Notes:
Airbrushes - Our quality airbrushes are comprised of very
delicate parts such as a very thin metal cone and very sharp
needle. When cleaning brushes take extra precautions not to
damage these parts by dropping, bumping or otherwise bending
the needle tip or fracturing the cone that fits over the tip
of the needle by pushing the needle forward to much when
adjusting flow. These things will render the brush useless
and any implied warranty void.
Compressors - Compressors are built to last for years with
normal use and proper care. Even in situations where
compressors are used daily they will still last for quite
some time. The most common problem is overheating and wear
under constant use. Many times auto-compressors, when left
on will run intermittently if hoses are not properly
attached or valves are left partially open. This will wear
them out and it is for this reason that they are only warranteed against manufacturer defects for six months. (We
recommend the stronger turbine systems for high demand
environments.) Items shipped for warranty that have been
abused or neglected will not be replaced and will be shipped
back at owners expense.
While compressor and airbrush systems are relatively
simple to operate, they are somewhat delicate instruments
and care should always be used when preparing and using
equipment, e.g., hose connections and any minor adjustments to
equipment.
All products are inspected after being manufactured and
again before being shipped.
With proper care and usage you should expect system
components to perform well and last. Compressors that are
used in a commercial environment and receive a considerable
amount of wear may need to be replaced in time.
